My EMT/Firefighter Son and Me

I am so proud of this guy! He has such a big heart for helping others. As a mom, I worry about his physical wellbeing, as a therapist, I worry about his mental health, as a former first responder, I am just so stinking proud I get to carry on the tradition.

This flag was given to us from when my father-in-law passed away. Today it reminds me of my own Veteran dad and all the Veterans I have been privileged to work with.
